The Industrial Union has decided to extend the overtime ban

The Industrial Union has decided to extend the overtime ban that was originally set to affect the technology industry, the sheet metal and industrial insulation sector and ore mines as well as employees of the Finnish Ministry of Defence from 4 November until 15 November. The overtime ban in these sectors will now continue until 24 November.

In addition to the union’s technology-sector members, technical service and maintenance workers will also be prohibited from working overtime between 16 November and 24 November 2019.
