Membership subscription is one percent in 2025

The Council of the Industrial Union decided at its autumn meeting in Helsinki that the union’s membership subscription in 2025 will be one (1) percent of all salary income subject to withholding tax and comparable income, as well as sick pay paid by the employer.

A separate unemployment fund membership fee is not charged, but the federation insures its members in the Open Unemployment Fund A-kassa as a member benefit.

Unpaid membership fees can be charged from the benefit paid by the Open Unemployment Fund.

The monthly membership fee for self-employed persons and self-employed persons is one percent of the minimum wage according to the Unemployment Security Act.
