Today, March 6, 2025, a negotiation result for the contract sectors of rural industries, horticultural branch, fur production branch and landscaping branch has been approved by The Industrial Union. The contract period is three years. The third year of the contract is terminable.
Contract period
The collective agreement period is agreed to be three years retroactively for the period 1 February 2025 – 31 February 2028, however, so that either party has the option to terminate the collective agreement to expire on 31 February 2027. The notice of termination must be submitted to the other party no later than 31 November 2026.
Salary solution
General increase
All four collective agreements are three-year and are valid until 31 January 2028.
In 2025, salaries will increase by 2.5% by the general increase, so that salaries in the demand group will be increased by a cent-based amount based on the 2.5% increase from 1 May 2025, starting from the beginning of the nearest salary payment period starting before or after.
In 2026, wages will increase by 2.9% in the general increase, so that wages in the demand group will be increased by a cent-based amount based on a 2.9% increase from 1 May 2026, starting from the beginning of the nearest wage payment period starting before or after.
In 2027, wages will increase by 2.4% in the general increase, so that wages in the demand group will be increased by a cent-based amount based on a 2.4% increase from 1 May 2027, starting from the beginning of the nearest wage payment period starting before or after.
The increase will be implemented in the collective agreement for rural industries and the horticultural branch for the 3rd job requirement group wage, in the fur production branch for the 2nd job requirement group wage, and in the landscaping branch for the 3rd job requirement group wage for the Capital city region.
Pay scales
The increase in pay scales from 1 May 2025, 1 May 2026 and 1 May 2027 will be implemented by applying the cent solution as it is to all job requirement groups.
Supplements
Euro-denominated supplements will be increased
- From 1 May 2025 by 2.5%
- From 1 May 2026 by 2.9%
- From 1 May 2028 by 2.4%
Vocational qualification and specialist vocational qualification allowance, seniority bonus, shop steward compensation and occupational safety and health representative compensation will be rounded to the next whole euro.
Collaboration group
The parties agree on a collaboration group that will prepare a model for the branches on the possible implementation of a company-specific amount.
