Fifth strike warning for UPM Plywood – strike starts on 31 March and lasts until 6 April

The Industrial Union has today 14 March issued new strike warning at UPM Plywood’s four units in Finland. The strike warning is the fourth one during this round of negotiations.

The strike covers all shifts starting between Monday March 31 at 00:00 and Sunday April 6 at 23:59 according to the shift list.

The strike concerns the company-specific collective agreement that the Industrial Union is negotiating with UPM Plywood.

The strike does not apply to work performed to protect human life and health, nor to work performed at the company’s own occupational health station, nor to work performed in the company’s factory fire departments.

The strike involves around 1,000 employees in the company.
