In the course, we will familiarize ourselves with the duties of a Shop Steward, the legal sources that are significant in terms of employment relationship, as well as the provisions of collective agreements.

After completing the course, the student is able to:
• Identify key issues about the rights and obligations of a Shop Steward
• Name the sources that regulate the employment relationship in the workplace
• Search for the law in question within the labor legislation, its specific chapter, the indicated section, and the individual subsection
• Choose in each situation the right source that regulates employment relationship
• Define the key negotiation goals, when preparing for the negotiations in the workplace
